w05 小米與紅線 - 空間裝置 小米、壓克力線 依場域而定 Millet And Red Line - Space device millet、acrylic lines according to the field 2016.05 自杜象以噴泉的小便斗為藝術, 打破藝術的界線以及我們觀看和理解的方式, 當然他的作品不僅於此,『為什麼打噴嚏』, 『甚至男人被新娘扒光』,『圈套』、『四個盒子』 一件件的作品引領我們探討藝術的可塑性。杜象宣稱繪畫以死,而現成物雕塑、拼貼等,具象、抽象、表現性,象徵意義的,不可言語或可理解的, 可以說杜象給了當代藝術一股力量,揭開當代藝術的方向,然而似乎我們所做過的,杜象都已詮釋。 杜象早期一件現成物作品『在斷臂之前』我引用其語意並拋出反思:那『在杜象之後』呢? 杜象在一次的展覽會以作品『26英里』長的紅線繞遍展場,甚至跨越其他人的作品,雖然是一種嘲諷搗亂的意味, 在我認為任何的反判即是為凸顯問題的作為。我應用紅線的形式,盤繞在天頂,就像藝術脈絡中各派別、各種主義形式,它們相承、交流、影響、延伸……。 在杜象之後我們承著藝術的洪流,卻對於創作又猶如滄海一粟。粟的原意是小米,恰好也是臺灣東部、原住民的文化的一環,花蓮對於臺灣來說是相對封閉所謂偏鄉, 綜觀臺灣相對世界而言也不過是滄海一粟。所以 杜象『在斷臂之前』,我『在杜象之後』,藝術何去,我們何從。 *註:這件作品名稱原名為『在度向之後 - 滄海一粟』,2017年更改為『小米與紅線』。 Since the statue of the fountain used the fountain urinal as art, it broke the boundaries of art and the way we see and understand.
